Creative Films for Creative People. Formed in 2002, Shiney Films is a small production company headed by Nigel Lees and assisted by Silvia Iranzo and Tim Cole. They produce a range of DVD’s on various subjects and specialise in promotional, informative and documentary topics.
For example, if you want to know what to do or see in the impressive city of Valencia, look no further than the DVD that shiney films has produced. Called “10 Things to See and Do in Valencia” it also has as additional 10 bonus features and suggestions. Presented by local people involved in each of the selected highlights of the city, the DVD is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Valenciano and is also subtitled in each.
Topics and places of interest include clear favourites such as the City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias), the new Bioparc and the Lladro factory producing exquisite porcelain, as well as less obvious attractions like the Daniel Horchata production centre and the Albufera natural park to the south of the city.
Also covered are the newly refurbished port area, the beaches, the Fallas fiesta and the benefits of the tourist bus, as well as the monuments and general sights of the city. The originality of tradition in respect of the ancient local recipes maceratesi. The search and retrieval of long-forgotten fruit. An organic farming, which guarantees the purity of raw materials. A method of processing simple and natural, in full respect of the seasonality in full handmade throughout the production process.
These are jams, jellies, oil, fruit sauces, condiments, executed entirely by hand, through the use of simple tools, such as the masher at different sizes, and traditional cooking methods like boiling a pot open. Furthermore, no use is made of chemical thickeners, (Jellies and jams without pectin, without stabilizers or preservatives in oil), or extraction of natural dyes, the greater or lesser extent and density of the product is produced exclusively by the different methods of cooking, while its freshness is preserved through meticulous preservation techniques to the natural, in accordance with the seasonal cycles.

Apricot jam
Jam creamy consistency, which suggests small pieces. A smell of ripe fruit and full flavor, with a slight sour note, make it perfect for spreading on bread for breakfast, but also as a basis for a good risotto.
Little Wild Plum Jam
Thick and smooth jam with an intense aroma of wild plums, with a prevalence of tannic notes. The taste turns sour and strong, but reveals to the palate a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. Excellent in combination with pecorino sardo, crushed ice drink and hard cheeses. During dessert, perfectly mixed with the dough for pies and donuts.
Raspberry jam
Jam consistency rich, with pulp of the whole fruit. With an intense aroma, full of fresh fruit, to the palate reveals its sweet and strong taste. A perfect accompaniment to the “feathered” as the pheasant, or in desserts directly in the mix.
Blackberry jam
Jam soft texture, with the presence of small pieces. To the nose it appears full, with a hint of ripe fruit, which is revealed on the palate with a sweet, intense, slightly bitter aftertaste. It’s great to spread on bread for breakfast, or to enrich the mixture of sweet and tart.
Mulberry jam
Jam derived from delicate cooking of dried fruit which is leaved entirely in its own juice. So Remains all the consistency of the whole fruit, both in extremely intense aroma, full, with rich notes of undergrowth, with a sweet and strong taste. It’s a great accompaniment to ricotta cheese, hot cakes, or to taste yogurt and ice cream
Plum jam
Soft, creamy jam, with flesh of plums, to the palate reveals the texture of the pieces of the fruit. The bouquet is intense, warm, with a delicate aroma of red fruits, the plum jam is fresh, smooth flavor with a slight bitter aftertaste. Excellent in breakfast, classic spreads on toast.
White figs jam or “Figs of the Lady“
Jam made from ancient varieties of figs. The extreme sensitivity of the mature fruit is revealed in the soft texture. The piece of fig, with its typical grains, and light fragrance gives a the sweet taste very intense and persistent. Excellent with white meat and delicate veined cheeses like soft blue cheese.
Redcurrant jam
Jam solid and consistent, with the presence of whole fruit. The intense aroma with notes of undergrowth, a typical prelude to the rich flavor of the fruit with a bitter and sour aftertaste. The combination is perfect with all the game, the boar in particular, and to accompany pate, foie gras, or aged cheeses, such as the typical cheese “drunk”.
Pear “Angelica“ jam
Jam soft texture and creamy made from the ancient variety of pear “Angelica“, very intense and rich aroma that makes it ideal as an accompaniment to cakes and pastries made with cheese, great on grilled or boiled white meats and boiled vegetables with chicken and capon. Alone, for breakfast.
Gooseberry jam
Jam consistency thick and solid, that gives a glimpse of crushed berries. The perfume is intense and ripe and leads to hints of berries, leaving a long note of grape strawberry. The taste slightly bitter and acidic, making it excellent as an accompaniment to a hard semi-mature cheeses such as pecorino, or used directly in cooking white meat.
