The unseen work behind every perfect stay at Villa Florencia This September, we will have been at Villa Florencia for twenty years. It is difficult to know exactly where those two decades have gone. Somewhere between the first bookings, the endless improvements, the changing seasons, the arrivals and departures, a business gradually became a way of life. What once required constant thought and attention now often seems to move in a familiar rhythm of its own. The bookings arrive. The guests arrive. They settle in, enjoy their holiday, pay us, leave, and then the cycle begins again. These days, it can sometimes feel as though Villa Florencia runs on autopilot. That is not because there is no work involved. Quite the opposite. It is because, after twenty years, much of the work has become an almost invisible choreography. First impressions One of the first things many guests comment on when they arrive, whether they are visiting for the first time or returning once again, is how beautiful the gardens and pool look.
